Black Guide to Life
When the 2002-2003 BSA Board published the original Black Guide to Life at Harvard, they made headlines across the nation. The book stood as both a summary of the history of blacks at Harvard and as a testament to the vigor and dedication of current black students, faculty and staff at the College. While the book was a great success, the second edition will feature improvements upon content to help future students, current students, alumni, faculty and others interested to find out what it means, and has meant, to be black at Harvard – a glorious circumstance that has meant, and continues to mean, many different things to many different people. We want to further uncover the history of the College, diversity within the black community, academic and professional choices, the effect of the Harvard experience on all blacks affiliated, and lastly, develop a paradigm for new leadership. With your support, this edition will be more successful than the first.
