The Harvard BSA has divided our community services into two projects. We have our William Monroe Trotter Scholars Program, and our Monthly Service Projects.
Our Monthly Service Projects offer more general community service opportunities each month. We have had our members help clean up the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter, donate clothing and school supplies to the Salvation Army, volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club, and more.
William Monroe Trotter Scholars Program works with the Mildred Ave Community Center in Mattapan to provide middle school students with Black Harvard mentors and teachers. Our members teach the students about personal finance, cultural history and health. We also provide homework help.
